Prayer Times Shia Sunni 2022
Prayer/Salah is the 2nd basic pillar of Islam after ''Kalma Shahadah''. The word salah is an Arabic word that means Dua or Dhikr. The real meaning of Zikr or Dua is connection, contact, or link. Prayer establishes a connection between Allah Almighty and His creatures. Why Allah Almighty Has mandatory prayers for His creatures?
Reasons
Following are the reasons Allah makes prayers mandatory for his creatures.
- To connect with Him.
- For the forgiveness of the sins of his creatures that they have committed wittingly or unwittingly.
- For spirituality (the belief that something is greater than me).
- For the peace of heart.
In Quran Allah Almighty has mentioned 763 times to perform prayers.
In Surah Baqarah Allah says;
''Established prayers and give Zakah and bow with those who bow".
''O believers seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.''
Rewards
The reward for prayer is described in many verses of the Quran.
In Quran Allah Almighty say ''Those who believe and do righteous deeds and establish prayers and give zakah are their reward will be no fear concerning them no will they grieve''.
Punishment for not praying Prayers
Saying Of Hazrat Muhammad PBUH
On the day of judgment, the first question is asked about prayers if someone's prayer is excepted all other good deeds are excepted if prayers are rejected all other deeds are rejected''
Moreover, those who show laziness to perform prayers have 15 types of punishment.6 in this world,3 at the time of death,3 in the grave, and three on the day of judgment.
Prayers Times
Muslims pray five times a day which consists of Fajr, Zuhur, Asir, Magrib, and Isha. Both Shia Sect and Sunni sect prays fives prayers and sunnah also. But the Shia sect prays zuhur and asir one after another but the Sunni sect prays first zuhur and then waits for asir Azan and then prays asir.
in this article, we will discuss the exact prayer times of both sects. There is little difference between both prayer timings.
